South Farm Rodmell Maize Maze
Mayday! Mayday! Calling all volunteers. Have you got what it takes to become a life saver?
We are excited to welcome you to South Farm Rodmell’s first ever Maize Maze! A fun day out for all the family. In support of the RNLI in their 200th anniversary year, our maze theme this summer is Search & Rescue! Come and explore the paths which lead you on a journey around an infamous RNLI lifeboat whilst searching for the clues to complete our challenging Water Course and Safety Catch maze games.
We have 2 mazes over the 7 acre site, our main lifeboat maze and a mini maze, suitable for those who are not ready to brave the high seas.
The maze is suitable for all ages. Pushchair and wheelchair accessible, although accessibility will be limited if the ground is wet! Please see our T&Cs for further information.

Extra Information
The maze is suitable for all ages but please remember it can be muddy, wet and slippery if it has been raining. Please wear suitable footwear and protection from the sun on hot days.
This crop will be harvested after the maze season and fed to the cattle so please don’t drop any litter and stick to the paths.
Please be mindful that it is a working farm so please keep an eye on children and dogs and be respectful of our beautiful countryside!
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a non-extendable lead outside the maize maze. Please bring bags to clear up after them. Dogs (Excluding service dogs) are not permitted into the maze.
Prebooking advisable to avoid disappointment!
May be closed due to bad weather so please keep an eye on our social media and emails if this may affect your visit.
Please Note:
- Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Dogs (excluding service dogs) are not permitted into the maze.
- In the event of heavy rain the maze site may be closed for health and safety reasons. All ticket holders will be contacted in these circumstances and tickets transferred to another date.
- Due to uneven ground, the maze pathways may be unsuitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
- A minimum adult to child ratio of 1:4 is required when entering our maze
